ISMNZ Workers Conference, 6-8 February 2026

Last year, our national conference theme focused on how abiding in Christ is vital to communing with God and bringing forth good fruit in life and ministry. This year we want to continue this theme of abiding in God as "a people of prayer". The early church was birthed and bathed in prayer. Prayer to our spiritual lives is like oxygen to our physical bodies - it's the air we breathe and need in God.

Jesus had much to say about prayer:

• It starts with worshiping and abiding in God - our Father in heaven, may your name be honoured
• It involves submitting our lives, plans and purposes to God - your kingdom come, your will be done
• We express our physical needs - give us today our daily bread
• And our need for cleansing and reconciliation - forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us
• We gain strength for the battle - help us with temptation, deliver us from evil
• Because prayer ushers in the Kingdom of God - yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory.

So come and join us at Waitangi weekend, to breathe deeply from God, to support one-another, and galvanise ourselves around our common calling from God to international students and migrants. The world is at our doorstep - let's pray together for breakthroughs in that world.

The cost of the conference is $120 per person, which covers cost-equalised accommodation and meals. The venue for our conference is te Waiora / the Centre at Massey University. Please check-in from 3 pm Friday at the Centre (Google map te Waiora / the Centre for directions).

If you are flying, please book your flights now to minimise the cost. Conference starts at 5 pm Friday, and finishes at 1 pm Sunday. If the cost of travel is a barrier for you joining us, we have money available to help sponsor your travel costs up to a maximum of $200 per person. Reimbursement will require receipts for flights or other transport related costs.
